WELCOME TO POLARIS WILDERNESS ADVENTURE
Established in 2012, our ethos has always been to make the outdoors accessible for all. Our Bushcraft experiences are designed to increase your understanding of the natural environment and wildlife by teaching and honing the traditional skills of our ancestors, which have supported our race for millennia, yet are unknown to many people today.
ABOUT US
Polaris Wilderness Adventure Ltd, (Polaris Bushcraft) was established in 2012 by Graham Couling to share his knowledge and passion for the outdoors, nature and wildlife, and to increase understanding of the traditional skills of our ancestors, which have supported our race for millennia, yet are unknown to many people today.
We teach both modern survival and traditional living skills to provide a truly rewarding experience, from both day workshops and longer courses, which inevitably enrich our understanding and connection with the natural world and our own past.
Based deep in an ancient woodland in Bayford, Hertfordshire, our private 40 acre camp is directly accessible by rail and road - with no public footpaths, gated entry and secure car parking.
A member of the Institute of Outdoor Learning, we are committed to delivering professional Bushcraft sessions for schools, home schooling and youth organisations as well as corporate team building days.
Graham Couling is an experienced outdoor learning practitioner, planner and leader committed to best practice standards and ethics in Outdoor Learning.
